Kurius is a non-profit coding education organization that aims to provide free and accessible programming courses to anyone who wants to learn. We teach the fundamental concepts of various popular programming languages.
We are looking for volunteer instructors to help us run our online courses. As an instructor, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and delivering engaging lessons based on a curriculum aligned with your knowledge and strengths
- Providing feedback and support to students during the course
- Collaborating with other instructors and staff members to ensure the quality and consistency of our courses

Help our renowned Learning and Engagement Department deliver a variety of educational programming including children's art classes, March Break camp, Summer Camp OPG Sunday and more! Assisting the Learning and Engagement Department is an excellent way to learn about a range of artistic techniques and practices, as well as gain valuable practical experience working with children of all ages. - Assist the swim instructor with children during a swimming lesson as needed
- Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

- Have or be working towards Bronze Medallion
- Commit to a set schedule for the length of a 10-week session
- The schedule will depend on availability.

Seeking volunteer male mentors for boys ages 9 - 16. Must be 21+ and preferably identifies as representing the Afro-Canadian Black community. If you are empathetic, kind and caring, we would love to connect you with a youth in need of support and guidance. Position is hybrid (both in person and virtual), and commit to at least 6 months.
